Visit to Carona’s botanical garden

What awaits you:

Carona’s botanical garden is managed by Flavio Salvetti, owner of the Il Sentiero agricultural company, a company entirely dedicated to the beneficial properties of herbs and flowers. With passion, Flavio organises guided tours of the botanical garden and his company to get you closer to the magical world of botany.

A pedestrian path, accessible also for disabled people, starts from the car park in Via Pagliari, cross the Brembo river on an old arched bridge and you arrive at the botanical garden. Here, the tour will introduce you to the many plant species in the garden and will be enriched with illustrations and insights that you can find on the notice boards, maps and botanical indicators along the way.

Near the Botanical Garden is the Il Sentiero agricultural company, specialised in the processing of officinal and aromatic herbs from which it produces herbal teas, salts, ready mixes and sauces.

At the company, you will visit the dryer: entry into this environment, essential for drying herbs, will envelop you with its natural scents.

another activity such as indoor climbing or bouldering in the gym located nearby the botanical garden or a nature walk with a guided tour of the nearby village of Pagliari.

The botanical garden is open throughout July and August. There is no need to book to access it.

For the guided tour, there is no minimum number of participants. Reservations are recommended.
