AZIENDA AGRICOLA “IL SENTIERO”

Il Sentiero agricultural company is located in Carona, in the upper Brembana Valley, about an hour's journey from Bergamo and its international airport.

Inspired by the respect and enrichment of the mountains, as well as inspired by the firm belief that the traditions of alpine life must be handed down, the company specialises in the processing of medicinal and aromatic herbs. All its products are made from leaves, stems, flowers and fruits of local plants, collected directly in the surrounding meadows and woods or grown in the nearby Botanical Garden, equipped with a dryer.

At “Il Sentiero” you will find:

-       herbal teas based on mallow, lemon balm, mint, echinacea, yarrow, lavender and hawthorn (just to name a few)

-       syrups made from juniper and other mountain plants

-       jams made from currants, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries

-       sauces with wild herbs

-       herbal salts

-       ready-made blends of juniper, dog rose and bottled mint-lavender.

In addition to being able to purchase these natural delights, you will also have the opportunity to participate in the experiences organised by the company. In fact, visiting the botanical garden can be combined with both indoor climbing and bouldering activities, and trekking excursions along the sides of the valley up to the village of Pagliari.

Visiting Il Sentiero therefore means having an all-round mountain experience, trying its flavours, enjoying its healthy properties, exploring its most beautiful places in an environmentally sustainable way.
