Mrs Teresa had been running a dairy shop for more than fifty years. With the help of her children, Giovanni Invernizzi Dairy was founded. Quality is the main characteristic of this company, which produces several DOP cheeses and is associated with four Protection Consortiums: Grana Padano, Taleggio, Quartirolo Lombardo and Gorgonzola’s.
The milk coming from each producer undergoes two monthly controls at Lombardy and Emilia Romagna Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute, in order to check its standards of quality. Every day the dairy itself also controls the milk’s quality, to verify that it can be processed.
