The Vallets and "Il Canto"

Along the route, you will come across two small valleys with streams. Cross them while keeping to the left and follow the wooden signs for "Il Canto." This trail winds through chestnut, ash, and wild cherry trees, creating a beautiful natural environment. Continue until you reach the power line tower, a key reference point. Turn right here to arrive at the San Bartolomeo farmhouse, dating back to the 1500s. Today, you can see the remains of the farmhouse, including a large bell tower, which reflects its religious past. Enjoy the view of the northern peaks before taking trail number 891. Proceed straight, passing a spring with a faucet—an excellent spot for a refreshing break. A little further on, you will find a plateau near the small church of Santa Barbara, the only remaining building from an ancient village.
