Walls of Bergamo: the Museum
A new museum dedicated to the history of the Venetian Walls, inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2017.

A new exhibition path dedicated to the history of the fortress walls has been established inside Porta Sant’Agostino, a historic entrance to the city.

At the museum, you can discover all the secrets of the Walls. The scenic setup is inspired by the architecture of the fortress, with bastions and platforms that serve as a backdrop for unique pieces from private collections and public institutions.
Bergamo on the Hill. The Venture of the Venetian Walls Take a journey through time to discover the protagonists and ideas behind the great construction of the Walls, immersing yourself in the experience created by Studio Karmachina and Studio Dune.
Let yourself be transported on a virtual journey that takes you inside Porta Sant'Agostino, into the Cannoniera di San Michele, and through the underground passages of the Walls.
