In the early 1900s, the Neri family decided to expand and renovate the villa, taking the opportunity to enrich it with refined Art Nouveau decorations.
The villa is surrounded by a garden and immersed in the peaceful atmosphere of the streets leading from the city to the hills and the Astino Valley.
The facade flush with the street has been embellished with beautiful frescoes.
The elegant female figures are reminiscent of those in Pre-Raphaelite paintings and billboards of the time.
They were probably painted by Bergamo artist Achille Filippini Fantoni.
Completing the decoration are floral motifs, also painted in fresco, that mimic the surrounding vegetation.
