The Via del Roccolino is opened by an ancient specimen of farnia, the ‘queen’ oak of the forest that predates the formation of the city.
The plant, rare in urban spaces, is easily recognized by its lobed leaves and acorns borne by a long stalk.
The street, whose name recalls the former presence of a rockery, leads toward the beautiful Valverde core at the base of the Upper Town.
