WHAT AWAITS YOU
Morning dedicated to a walk through the streets of the magnificent Upper Bergamo, accompanied by a certified tourist guide.
Lying on the hills, it has dominated the plain since Roman times. During the visit of the city you will be able to admire Piazza Vecchia with the Palazzo della Ragione, the Civic Tower, called the Campanone, the historic town hall, now the seat of the library. From which we then continue to discover the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, a treasure trove of frescoes, stuccos, tapestries and wooden inlays made to a design by the famous artist Lorenzo Lotto.
Free time for lunch or, on request, possibility to have lunch in a restaurant with a typical menu.
In the afternoon, entrance with guided tour of Palazzo Moroni and its Gardens. Seventeenth-century palazzo that preserves decorated and furnished interiors and a rich art collection, as well as an Italian garden and a vast vegetable garden that make up an enchanting historical park in the heart of the Upper Town.
At the end of the visit, a tasty snack awaits you in a historic patisserie to taste three typical desserts (small polenta cake, sample of the Donizetti Cake, Stracciatella ice cream cup) accompanied by a drink.
