Her garments are created and produced in the workshop in Peia and exhibited in ‘Chérie Boutique’ in Leffe, a village in the Seriana Valley, just 30 km from Bergamo – Orio al Serio airport and as just many kilometres from the Presolana Monte Pora ski slopes
Aurora’s garments are mostly made of silk or wool. She has a project to recover the wool from sheep in the Gandino Valley. The particularity of this fabric is that it’s very light but, at the same time, very warm. The processing here remains very basic, without dyeing or lining, to give even greater prominence to this valuable material. The message? Even fashion can be zero kilometre.
In a fast-paced society, in which everything moves so quickly, Stile Atelier recovers the care and refinement of hand-made goods, where a non-industrialised garment is cared for in detail to satisfy the customer’s requests.
