THE RESTAURANT
Il Sorriso was managed from 1969 by Emilio, the father of the current owner, Paolo, known locally as Nani. In 2004, Paolo and his wife Michela took over the management of the restaurant: their approach to hospitality is to create culture through good food, making the dining experience at Ristorante Sorriso in Selvino comfortable and welcoming guests in an elegant setting that matches the menu offerings and features a wine cellar boasting a selection of over 100 labels.
THE RESTAURATEUR
Standing out through innovation, while building on the solid foundations of family tradition: this is the goal of Chef Paolo, who grew up in the kitchen of the restaurant opened by his parents in 1969. Here, slow cooking sous-vide is preferred for meat dishes, while the menu also offers a variety of fish dishes, which is quite unusual at an altitude of one thousand meters. The raw materials are of high quality; creativity and research translate into interesting dishes to be savored at a leisurely pace. And the desserts are certainly not to be missed! The menu changes frequently to follow the seasonality of the products.
