THE RESTAURANT
In a splendid 18th-century villa owned by the Blondel family, ancient structures and modern furnishings coexist, creating a very pleasant, refined, and convivial atmosphere.
The restaurant features four charming dining rooms, each brightened by an old fireplace, and a noble, discreet, and shady garden for outdoor lunches and dinners.
The 13th-century tower, standing in its austere elegance, houses a well-stocked wine cellar, managed by the owner Camillo Frosio, whose great passion for wines encourages guests to visit.
In 2020, the restaurant celebrated 30 years of activity.
THE CHEF
Paolo Frosio
The restaurant staff is coordinated by Paolo and Camillo, with one leading the kitchen and the other managing the dining room, supported by their wives.
Paolo and Camillo Frosio, enfant prodige of Bergamo’s culinary scene, earned their Michelin star in 1993.
They offer classic-modern dishes, prepared with great care and often crafted using traditionally “important” products such as scampi, lobster, foie gras, pigeon, caviar, and truffle.
Their approach focuses primarily on using Slow Food Presidia products and, more recently, zero-kilometer (locally sourced) products.
