The restaurant is named after the Dahlak Archipelago in Eritrea, a jewel of the Red Sea.
Driven by their love for their homeland, in 1996 the owners began offering traditional Eritrean cuisine at local festivals. Ten years later, in 2006, Dahlak ethnic gastronomy was born in the historic Borgo Palazzo, and in 2014 it transformed into a full-fledged restaurant. Over the years, the family that runs it has passionately worked to make every lunch and dinner an encounter between food and culture; a passion that still guides them today and brings all the flavors of Eritrea to your table.
