The Monastery of San Bernardino, consecrated to Saint Bernardine of Siena, stands in Caravaggio and includes the church of San Bernardino and the convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
Internally, the church consists of a single nave, to the left of which are three small polygonal chapels.
In the first chapel beside the nave, dedicated to Our Lady, there are some frescoes whose author is not certain but attributed to Trevigliese painters Bernardo Zenale and Bernardino Butinone.
On the wall dividing the nave dedicated to the faithful, visitors can admire Fermo Stella’s recently restored Passion Cycle.
