In the heart of Gromo, recognized among the “most beautiful villages in Italy” and a Touring Club Orange Flag, the Milesi palace is being enriched with new exhibition spaces.
The Museum of White Arms and Scrolls, a small jewel housed within the property, has been expanded and is ready to host the exhibition.
The City Council welcomed the proposed donation, received from Dr. Piervaleriano Angelini for Anna Maria Zamboni, of some drawings by the “poet of architecture.”
An excellent opportunity to highlight the engineer’s great work and the centrality of the village of Gromo over the years with its most influential palaces and families.
The exhibition was curated by Cinzia Baronchelli and Andrea Zanoletti of the social cooperative l’Aquilone onlus, Artelier cultural section, with the extraordinary teamwork of the tourist office and municipal office staff. In the course of 2025 the exhibition will be enriched with thematic events and guided tours that will also involve the villages that are protagonists, besides Gromo, of Angelini’s pen, namely Valgoglio and Gandellino.
Crucially, the contribution of his grandson Dr. Piervaleriano Angelini, who generously made his grandfather’s works available for all to see, which can reach a wider audience.
The exhibition will be open during the following hours:
– Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
– Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon
