When Bruno Federico and his wife Giuseppina moved from Capri to the Bergamo area, fish was a rare and little-known ingredient. For this reason, when they opened La Caprese in 1975, they brought a small revolution with them: the sea of Capri to the Orobie valleys. This passion has been pursued with dedication and passed down to their daughter Antonella, who now leads the family establishment. The culinary philosophy is tied to the daily and seasonal availability of the fish market, a cuisine based on simplicity and respect for the raw materials, which are part of the region and deeply rooted in the tradition and memories of our family.
