The Municipality of Martinengo, in collaboration with local associations, presents the exhibition “In the Sign of Bartolomeo Colleoni, Captain of Fortune.”
The exhibition aims to offer a diversified itinerary capable of restoring to visitors the greatness of the Condottiero who influenced, leaving several marks in places, the development of the territory of the municipalities where he settled.
Through the creation of information panels describing the Colleonesque places; through the display of clothes that hark back to the Colleonesque era (made by a local association that has been organizing a Palio re-enactment for years); through the display of original and signed documents of the Condottiero kept in the historical archives of the Martinengo Municipality; through the organization of a tasting of typical products; and through the display of paintings and sculptures that recall Bartolomeo Colleoni’s passage through these lands. And, finally, through an event of musicians and luthiers recalling and reproducing the atmosphere of the Colleonesque court.
