The review closes, not surprisingly, with the long experience of a feminist activist such as Rosangela Pesenti, a Professional Counselor, Historian, Phd in Epistemology of Complexity and Anthropology, Transactional Analyst (CTA), has been conducting training and counseling for women and men, parents, teachers, and students on the issues of distress, nonviolent conflict management, gender difference, and women’s political history for twenty years. Present since 1978 in the UDI (Union of Italian Women now Union of Women in Italy), she was president of the National UDI Archives Association from 2015 to 2019

The reflection will start from the book “How I Became a Feminist” published in 2020 that summarizes dreams, struggles, achievements, and defeats.

The Urban Library System with the Association “Il Cerchio di Gesso” presents the review “D[i]ritti in Biblioteca,” dedicated to promoting women’s literature and raising awareness of women’s rights.A series of meetings that, through literary readings, debates and participatory activities, aims to offer an opportunity for reflection and discussion on crucial issues such as gender violence and equal opportunities.
The project was implemented thanks to contributions from: Fondazione della Comunità Bergamasca, Associazione La mimosa, Soroptimist Bergamo, Donne per Bergamo-Bergamo per le donne and the Equal Opportunities Committee of the Cisl, Cgil, Uil trade unions.
And the collaboration of: Assessorato Politiche sociali, Assessorato Pari Opportunità del Comune di Bergamo, Associazione Aiuto Donna-Uscire dalla violenza ONLUS, Associazione La Svolta, COOP Lombardia, Cooperativa Sirio.
