An emblem of Sarnico’s Art Nouveau style, Villa Faccanoni was built by the architect of Giuseppe Sommaruga in 1907.
The “bachelor’s cottage” is situated in line with Lake Iseo and is visible only from the lake.
Surrounded by a large Mannerist garden, the villa consists of a high plinth, steps, windows, and balconies in an asymmetrical perspective decorated by two rows of concrete bas-reliefs and pastel-colored ceramics.
