Called the “botanical treasure chest” of Bergamo province, Imagna Valley has initiated the Ecomuseum project with the aim of enhancing the area as a whole.
How?
Through the reconstruction of traditional living environments with dedicated tourist routes, the promotion of scientific research and educational initiatives referring to history, art and the territory.
In short, an open-air, diffuse museum that encompasses the entire Imagna Valley area and actively involves it-without the participation of the community, in fact, the Ecomuseum would have no life or meaning.
Following the routes, you can admire the naturalistic and geological heritage, discover villages and small rural centers, visit churches and religious buildings, and refresh yourself with tasty local dishes.
