The Bartolomeo Colleoni Association presents the exhibition of artist Dolores Previtali, held in the rooms of the Colleoni Castle in Solza, April 12 to May 11.
From April 12 to May 11, the Castle will host the exhibition “CONVERSIO – An Inevitable Love,” an event that will involve every corner of the monumental building. Crossing the threshold of the large wooden doorway, visitors will find themselves immersed in a path that transforms every space into a setting that hosts the extraordinary works in bronze, terracotta and plaster by artist Dolores Previtali. Her sculptures recount, with intensity and delicacy, the fragility of the human condition, exploring universal themes of transformation and rebirth.
After a long and prestigious career that has seen her featured in solo and group exhibitions in such prominent venues as the Catholic University of Milan, Venice, France, Belgium and Switzerland, Dolores Previtali arrives in our Borgo for a new, unmissable exhibition.
Dolores was a figure admired by great figures in the cultural world, such as Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi and the poet Alda Merini, with whom she shared a deep friendship.
The vernissage will take place on Saturday, April 11 at 6 p.m., with art historian Annalisa Sala guiding the public through the artist’s works, offering an in-depth analysis of his artistic research. A unique opportunity to discover the dialogue between art, emotion and history, in a context that enhances the deep connection between the Castle and artistic expression.
