Casa Virginia was born in 2002, when Antonio Lecchi (current director of the cellar) decides to restore an ancient vineyard immersed in the renowned park of the Bergamo Hills. Great passion and wide knowledge in the wine field are the tools with which the vineyard dating back to the ‘700 is cultivated, in one of the best areas suitable for the viticulture of Bergamo. Casa Virginia enhances the autochthonous vines (such as the Manzoni Bianco 6013), and at the same time searches for innovation: in the land owned, the Marna di Buntino, the Shiraz grape variety was inserted on an experimental level.
