-Returning home, you can relive the experience by replicating the dish learned thanks to Michele’s lesson
WHAT AWAITS YOU
Michele will welcome you to his home in Bergamo.
He will wait for you with a welcome cocktail and then talk about the menu you are going to prepare.
You can choose to prepare a delicious plate of fresh pasta: tagliatelle, casoncelli, lasagna with different sauces (bolognese, pesto, fish) or why not even the typical Bergamo-style casoncelli: ravioli stuffed with meat seasoned with butter, sage and bacon.
If you don’t like pasta, you can decide to prepare a second course of meat or fish or the timeless Italian pizza!
Here’s what your evening menu includes:
– Aperitif (prosecco and snacks)
– Appetisers (local salami and cheeses, vegetables)
– the dish prepared by you (1 dish of your choice between pasta, pizza, meat, fish, etc.)
– Wine
– Desserts (1 choice between Sicilian cannoli, tiramisù, panna cotta, babà, strudel, profitteroles)
– coffee and liqueurs
After 2-3 hours of work, you can finally sit down to taste your delicious preparations accompanied by an excellent Italian wine.
During dinner, Michele will tell you the origins and the history of the dishes you have chosen and will explain the choice of wine.
The dinner will end with a delicious typical Italian liqueur (limoncello, grappa, liquorice liqueur, or an amaro) and an inevitable espresso.
The Michele’s Kitchen cooking class is very practical. Michele will show you the different stages of preparing the dishes and you can follow his instructions from your workstation.
An afternoon of good food and fun awaits you! And once back home you can organise dinners or lunches all made in Italy, thanks to the knowledge Michele has shared with you. You will make a great impression!
