WHAT AWAITS YOU
The day will begin with a guided tour of a winery on Lake Garda, with a description of the Lugana DOC production process and a taste of some of the winery’s most renowned wines.
At the end of the visit, transfer by own means to Sirmione for a traditional lunch in one of the best restaurants in the historic centre, in the heart of the lake.
In the afternoon, you can enjoy a few hours of relaxation in the historic medieval village of Sirmione, travelling the entire peninsula dotted with extremely valuable historic buildings and interesting artisan shops for a bit of shopping.
The experience can be further enriched by optional activities (with supplement) for all tastes, including:
– a visit to the Catullo Caves, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in Italy, made up of the remains of a Roman villa built between the end of the 1st century BC and the 2nd century AD;
– a visit to Scaligero Castle, at the entrance to the historic centre with its towers and the geometry of battlements and walls, which draw its profile. Inside: the courtyard, the walkways and the dock. The high tower of the castle offers a breathtaking view of Lake Garda;
– a few hours of relaxation at the Terme di Sirmione spa, an impressive area of thermal water, immersed in a magnificent park, with a spectacular view of Lake Garda.
