Martinengo’s appointment with the art of comics is back, from Saturday, April 12 to Sunday, April 27 at the Filandone exhibition hall in Martinengo. This year, the fifth edition will host Laura Zuccheri’s exhibition.
Born in Budrio (BO) on October 4, 1971, she obtained her high school diploma in science in 1990, the year in which she began taking a course in advertising graphics in Bologna, which kept her busy until 1991.Until 1992 she worked for advertising agencies, but following her meeting with Berardi and Milazzo she began collaborating with “Ken Parker Magazine.” She then draws a story published in the first Ken Parker Speciale and one for Zona X, both in collaboration with Pasquale Frisenda.She joins the staff of Julia since the beginning of the title, and for the criminologist from Garden City she draws more than twenty stories.In 2019 “Doc!”, the thirty-fourth Tex Speciale, is published, drawn by her on texts by Mauro Boselli.
The opening of this year’s edition will be held on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m., at the Filandone Exhibition Hall. This will be followed by a guided tour of the Martinengo village at 3 p.m. The exhibition will remain open until 6 p.m.
The exhibition is organized by Pro Loco Martinengo APS and curated by Marco Ghion, a Tex Willer cartoonist who has been collaborating with Sergio Bonelli Editore since 2018 and already featured in a solo exhibition at Filandone in 2019, in collaboration with the Martinengo library and municipality.
Free admission Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 6 p.m. Also open April 21 and 25.
