New collaborations, an even richer program, two Fuori Fiera and lots of guests for one of Bergamo’s most anticipated cultural events. The Booksellers’ Fair returns to Bergamo and reaches its 66th edition.
From April 19 to May 4, the 66th edition of the Bergamo Booksellers’ Fair, the traditional appointment with Italy’s oldest Booksellers’ Fair, returns, promoted and organized by Confesercenti Bergamo, the independent bookstores that are members of Li.Ber – Associazione Librai Bergamaschi, by Promozioni Confesercenti and Sindacato Italiano Librai (SIL) and co-organized by the City of Bergamo.
A program divided by themes, with 120 events and 2 off-fair. Not only dialogues with authors, but also performances, concerts, live podcasts, theater-reading and workshops. Different expressions to talk about fiction, poetry, non-fiction, memory and resistance, politics, history, science popularization, peace education and local publishing.
Let yourself be carried far away. Imagine an open book whose pages begin to turn faster and faster. It is a familiar and sweet sound, the start of an unusual means of transportation that leads to unforgettable and unforgettable journeys. They are joined this year by four other independent bookstores in the area – Spazio Terzo Mondo, Libreria Incrocio Quarenghi, Libreria San Paolo, Elle Libri – triggering a collaboration of pages and words around one of the most anticipated and heartfelt events for readers of all ages.
The 66th edition of the Bergamo Booksellers Fair enjoys the patronage and contribution from the Bergamo Chamber of Commerce, the Province of Bergamo and the Region of Lombardy.
