The green oasis is the largest public park in the city.
It is located in Seriate, just 4 km from Bergamo.
From the city center you can get here by bicycle, or by bus (line 1 direction ) or even by car.
The oasis is located on Via Lazzaretto, and as soon as you enter the park, a very large lawn with sturdy trees that provide some shade on hot summer days opens up before you.
At the entrance to the park, moreover, an all-wood kiosk with outdoor benches and tables provides a more than pleasant refreshment break: drinks, ice cream, coffee but also wood-fired pizza in the evening hours.
A few meters from the kiosk you can find children’s playgrounds, a special area designed for young children.
The park is equipped with drinking fountains, which are invaluable for those who ride bicycles and use the bicycle path that, right from the green oasis, leads to Ghisalba, running alongside the Serio River.
The green oasis is on the orographic left bank of the Serio River, but via a recently built steel bridge, you can cross the river and take it to the other bank where, following the path, you arrive in Grassobbio.
