Here are some numbers about the racetrack: work began on May 15 and finished in a record time of 110 days, thanks to 3,500 workers, 200 wagons, 30 trucks and a 5-kilometer Decauville railway with 2 locomotives and 80 cars.
In its initial version, the circuit had two tracks: a road track and a high-speed ring with two elevated curves.
Over the years, it has undergone many changes, due to unfortunately even fatal accidents that occurred on its track: today it measures 5,793 meters.
