You will be able to see about 2,000 objects in what is intended to be, yes, a place of preservation, but also of rediscovery of the history of the Brembana Valley and of cultural revival.
The many artifacts from agriculture, dairy processing, and other crafts and domestic activities come back to life in the old mansion that has become the model of a traditional house in the Upper Valley, furnished and structured in a meticulous way following the lifestyle that belonged to local families for centuries.
Upon entering the Museum, you will be thrown into a bygone era where technology was absent and existence was dotted with simple but functional and effective tools.
You’ll see the blacksmith’s workshop, the carpenter’s bench, tools for making cheese, the loom, the lathe, and a host of other everyday objects: chests, chests, cabinets, tables, chairs, even children’s toys and cribs!
