At Valpredina, near Cenate Sopra, there is a beautiful protected area that touches with its 90 hectares both the southern slope of Mount Misma (Mountain Community of the Bergamasque Lakes) and the Seriana Valley.
It is an oasis to be experienced in many ways: for an in-depth nature visit, for a hike or even just for a pleasant day in the midst of nature.
You will find a Visitor Center, guesthouse and an easy loop trail equipped with information panels waiting for you.
The highlights of the trail-especially suitable for families and school groups-are the educational ponds, butterfly garden, composting area, organic garden, medicinal plants and wildlife area.
The oasis is also a Wildlife Recovery Center that cares for injured wildlife and gives shelter to specimens no longer able to live in the wild.
And if you want to combine the visit with a pleasant trekking excursion, from the center you can reach the observatory at Cà Pessina (530 a.s.l.), Cà Muratori (750 a.s.l.) and finally the summit of Mount Misma, from which you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Orobie Mountains and the Po Valley all the way to the Apennines.

Cost of admission with audio guide: € 10 adults, € 8 children.

Average duration of the trail: 1 1/2 hours.
