To immerse yourself in nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, sometimes it is not necessary to drive long distances!
This route is just a few minutes from the center of Bergamo, and it is a fully paved bike path away from major arterial roads, which will be able to give you a long and pleasant moment of relaxation or sport.
Starting from Baioni Street, you’ll have to follow the course of the Morla stream, which will lead you along a pleasant path surrounded by greenery, silent and dotted with trees and wide meadows where you can stop to take a bucolic break.
Its distance from busy roads and its almost always flat route make the Green Way a perfect destination for a solo hike or a quiet family outing.
You can travel it by bike or on foot while enjoying the views that gradually open up to you.
On the one hand you will be able to admire Città Alta, perched on the hill and surrounded by its Venetian walls; on the other the view will extend over the hills behind Bergamo and the Orobie Mountains.

We do agree with you about one thing, however: in spring the numerous meadows entice you to stop for a picnic, while in summer the coolness provided by the proximity of the creek and the shade of the trees is truly priceless!
