Church of St. Pancras

The church is located in the vicinity of San Pancrazio, a wealthy neighborhood once inhabited by merchants.

Description

Rebuilt in the 1400s and renovated in the 1700s, it has an archaic portal that belongs to the ancient medieval front.
The interior is simple, single-nave with 5 chapels on each side and preserves works by Cavagna and Salmeggia.
A graceful fountain designed in 1549 by Leonardo Isabello adorns the small square in front.
